When Concepts Integration, Inc. needed shared offices space we visited three providers in the area.
One provider had very nice office space but poor furniture. The shared areas were cluttered. Their staff was nice but not outwardly friendly. Another provider had smaller office space and was a little pricey. Their staff did not acknowledge me as I toured the facility other than when they initially found the manager to meet with me.
When I toured Carr Workplaces, I noticed the reception desk plaques saying "Director of First Impressions." I even took a picture of the plaques to share with a client! The front desk staff asked me if I wanted something to drink and was outwardly friendly. Ellen, their Director of Sales & Marketing, was knowledgeable and not hard-sell. She provided information multiple times and in different ways without ever being pushy. That was really appreciated. Finally, the office furniture was professional and the shared space beautiful.
Most important to me was the friendly and outgoing attitudes of the front desk staff. I could immediately see that it was a welcoming and open environment in which my staff and clients would be comfortable. Ellen also made sure that I understood, and believed, that my needs would be met no matter what and that the whole organization would be there to ensure that my company was successful.
Since I moved in the staff has remained very friendly, professional and exceedingly competent. They always have a warm greeting and ask how things are going. Equinox Partners left another provider of shared office space because our needs were simply not being met, and our needs were pretty simple.
