Preferred Offices Unveils Newest Serviced Office at Potomac Tower in Rosslyn, VA; Offers 62 Offices and 4 Conference Rooms with Stunning Views of DC

Grand Opening Includes Ribbon-Cutting with Arlington Chamber of Commerce President and Announcement of Support of the Reading Connection of Arlington

ROSSLYN, VA - May 6, 2009 - Preferred Offices, a Washington, DC-based provider of serviced office space, opened its ninth location today on the 12th floor of 1001 North 19th Street in Rosslyn, VA. With panoramic views of the Potomac River, historic Key Bridge, and the National monuments, Preferred brings world-class business space and services to this premier Arlington County location. Encompassing 18,000 square feet, 62 offices, and four conference rooms, Preferred-Rosslyn provides a flexible, full service solution to businesses with small or short term work space requirements, eliminating the inefficiencies these firms experience in acquiring and equipping conventional leased office space.

"While each of our properties distinguish themselves in some way, today's unveiling in Rosslyn shows you can find outstanding quality offices in Virginia without sacrificing proximity to DC; offices that are suitable for all types of professionals and small businesses who share the need to be smart and flexible about how they create and use their office space," said Joe Wallace, chief executive officer of Preferred Group. "We created Preferred Rosslyn to showcase a state-of-the-art facility that can offer prestige and economic efficiency to any client."

Joining Wallace at the unveiling was Preferred Group founder and Chairman Oliver T. Carr, Jr., who began the company in 2003 as a means to help small enterprises gain access to the same workplace resources enjoyed by larger firms, and to enhance their competitiveness by delivering these resources at a fraction of the cost of conventional solutions. Also supporting the opening was Arlington Chamber of Commerce President Richard Doud, who welcomed Preferred Offices as the first serviced office space provider to open in Rosslyn in more than two decades. He cited the diverse Arlington County workforce of more than 200,000 and the innovation that springs from this workforce as an example of the need for flexible office space in Rosslyn.

"Arlington County's location, educated workforce and inherent transportation advantages will prompt dynamic businesses to seek workplace solutions in Arlington such as what Preferred has unveiled today," he said. "Our 26 acre County is a hub for high-tech startups, government contractors and consulting firms, and the ideal setting for businesses that require easy access to District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, and the Pentagon. Arlington County businesses are proven innovators, and Preferred Offices will be an asset to our business community."

In recognition of opening its first business office in Arlington, and in keeping with its tradition of commitment to the communities in which it operates, Preferred Offices announced that it has made a charitable contribution to The Reading Connection, an Arlington-based non-profit that encourages reading for at-risk families and their children. "We are delighted to support the fine work of The Reading Center" said Wallace, "and we look forward to continuing that support into the future as our business grows in Rosslyn and throughout the County."

Preferred Rosslyn was designed by the Alexandria, Va.-based architectural firm of Rust|Orling Architects. Mark Orling, its principal, sought to create open spaces, mixed with bright, comfortable colors to convey a comfortable work environment. The new Preferred Rosslyn center boasts fully-furnished executive offices, conference and training rooms, state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, and a team of experienced administrators on-site to help clients manage their day-to-day business. Special features include an advanced digital access security system for private offices and a "Smart Board" interactive flat panel display in the center's training and conference room. "Our clients want to stay flexible, they want to minimize their long term liabilities, they want to save time and capital, they want to be supported by highly reliable infrastructure and they want a great office," said Wallace. "That's what Preferred represents for them: an opportunity to reclaim time, re-purpose capital, manage their risk exposure and come to work every day in a great professional environment where everything is taken care of for them. It's that simple."
